I have lived here for several months and I have about had it. The management at the Alexan in North Hills Raleigh is horrible.

I try to be optimistic and kind to the situation but from the day I signed my lease things have gone wrong. The apartment was never cleaned from the previous tenants, the refrigerator did not work and has on several occasions leaked, stopped producing cold air and was improperly assembled. The fans and lights in the apartment turn on due to remote connections between other apartments. It could be 3 am and the lights flicker on and off.

Most recently my toilet started to over flow without use. My bathroom floor had water leaking into my carpeted closet. The water was contained within an area of the bathroom but my issue was with the water seeping into my closet. I was told they would "deal with it tomorrow." So when the water starts to leaking into the apartment below then maybe they will care.

The lack of urgency or care that is displayed to the residents is amazing. They will dazzle you during a tour but once you provide that initial deposit you become irrelevant to their daily operations. The primary maintenance man is the only reason we have stuck around.

To be in a premier location and to be considered luxury apartments they have far outdone themselves in being the opposite. I am aggravated but more disappointed that my experience here has been awful.
